Vegan Sushi Donuts
These vegan sushi donuts are a creative twist on traditional sushi rolls. They are easy to make, healthy, and gluten-free, perfect for a light and delicious meal.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups sushi rice, cooked
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1 cucumber, julienned
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 nori sheets, cut into thin strips
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon sriracha optional
Instructions:
Mix rice vinegar, sugar, and salt in a small bowl until the sugar and salt are gone
Add this to the cooked sushi rice and mix it in
Use a little sesame oil to grease two donut molds
For strong molds, press the seasoned rice into them
Remove the rice from the molds with care and set them on a serving platter
Cut up avocado, cucumber, and carrot and put them on top of each rice donut
On top of the donuts, put sesame seeds and nori strips
Melt the maple syrup, sesame oil, soy sauce, and sriracha in a small bowl
Put this sauce on top of the sushi donuts
Serve right away and enjoy!
